Bites Bakery Cafe @ Bandar Puteri Puchong.

Approximately two weeks back, had the honour to be one of the first few to try some really cute Dim Sum-sized bread at Bites Bakery Cafe in Bandar Puteri Puchong, which opened in March 2016.

The cafe was pretty huge and spacious where on one side, it's for you to dine in and the other, is for you to purchase the bread just like other bakeries that you can usually find. Before I go any further, some photos to help you navigate around. :p
Exterior of the cafe.
Some cakes on display.
This got me interested because the generous amount of macademia nuts they have on the medium-sized cake. :o
Choose your breads here. Menu is not full-fledged yet though as it's still rather new.
The Dim Sum bread I was talking about.
Place your order/ pay for the bread that you've chosen at the entrance here.
Some drinks and desserts perhaps? Oh wait, they even have Thai Tea man!
The spacious interior of the cafe.
Dine in if you wish.
For those who wish to work from their laptop.
The sofa corner.

Once everyone's arrived, we were served with two huge Chocolate towers. Super generous of the owner, especially when there were only about 10 of us.
Very nice, thick and chocolate-y. Good news is that it will be available in the menu soon!

The owner then brought in about 15 varieties of Dim Sum buns to us. And yes, they were served to us in the conventional Dim Sum baskets too. Super cute!
Ham & Cheese Butter Bun.
Cranberry Cheese Oyaki.
Curry Powder Sausage Roll.
Chocolate Bun (left) and Tuna Mayo (right).
White Chocolate Bun.
Variety of Cinammon Twist, Mini Donut, and some others that were already mentioned earlier.
More Dim Sum buns!
They even have Green Tea Oyaki, Vege Scones, Oreo buns etc.

Had the opportunity to tried each flavour and I must say, after so many pieces, I didn't feel tired of eating them. Probably cause it's not on the sweet side, and the breads were in mini-sized after all. :p Just when I thought it's almost over, the owner then served us with normal-sized breads!
Some of the breads that are already available in their cafe.
The main baker and the owner shared some insights with us.

If you're wondering what kind of insights they've shared, here's a few:-
  1. Their breads are made of butter instead of margarine as it's a slightly healthier option.
  2. All buns are made fresh daily as early as 6 or 7 in the morning.
  3. No breads and doughs are left overnight as they will be disposed.
  4. The Dim Sum concept is for those who wish to try a few breads at a go without feeling too full after that.
  5. If you wish to enjoy the Dim Sum buns in the cafe, they are more than willing to help you reheat them and yes, it's served hot and soft, which I personally prefer my bread to be like that!
  6. Dim Sum buns are available at RM 4.90 for 4 pieces and RM 9.90 for 9 pieces.
  7. There is a B1F1 promotion after 8.30 pm and B1F2 after 11.30 pm.
The owner, the baker and I. :p
Group shot.

All in all, this would be recommended for those who wish to go for something light and nothing too sweet for tea time. Also, they have a few pasta and waffles selection to choose from, though it's rather limited now. :) If you wish to dig in, feel free to visit them at:-
